Parent Health Testing

Our breeding dogs undergo full health clearances before any pairing. We follow the Golden Retriever Club of America's recommended panel, which includes:

  • OFA hip evaluation (Fair, Good, or Excellent)
  • OFA elbow evaluation
  • OFA cardiac clearance (with board-certified cardiologist)
  • CAER eye examination (annually)
  • Genetic panel for PRA, Ichthyosis, and DM

Puppy Vaccination Schedule

Every Golden Retriever puppy receives age-appropriate vaccinations before going home:

  • 6-8 weeks: First DHPP combination vaccine
  • Regular deworming starting at 2 weeks of age
  • Fecal check before pickup

Important Note

Your puppy will need to continue the vaccination series with your local veterinarian — typically boosters at 10-12 weeks and 14-16 weeks, plus the rabies vaccine. Complete records travel with your puppy.

Our Commitment

If a qualifying genetic health issue is confirmed by a licensed veterinarian within the guarantee period, we work directly with you on a fair resolution. Options may include:

  • Replacement puppy of equivalent value from a future litter
  • Partial or full refund based on the situation
  • Assistance with covered veterinary costs
